Phytonext, a Dutch pioneer in green extraction technologies, has successfully developed and realized a large-scale cannabis extractor tailored for high-purity cannabinoid recovery. This cutting-edge extraction unit, now operational at Becanext in Berlin, represents a significant leap in sustainable processing of medicinal cannabis.
The system is based on a proprietary solvent technology that offers a unique balance of selectivity, efficiency, and environmental safety. Unlike conventional ethanol or CO₂-based systems, this process enables gentle extraction at low temperatures and without pressure, preserving the full spectrum of active compounds.
The transition from laboratory-scale trials to a fully operational industrial installation was achieved through a close collaboration with TOP b.v. and Natural Processing Solutions (NPS). Together, the consortium translated Phytonext’s patented green extraction concept into a robust and scalable production system—marking a milestone in clean-label cannabinoid extraction.
This first industrial unit is a testament to Dutch engineering excellence and cross-disciplinary innovation. It combines advanced process design, hygienic machine construction, and a focus on natural product integrity.
